I challenged myself in 2018 to share the lessons I had learned while embedded on ML and AI teams. I submitted a topic to Phoenix Design Week 2018: "Why AI needs UX and UX needs AI." The topic was approved, and I presented an hour-long presentation to an audience of 80+ people.

The presentation forced a clear articulation of the principles I developed while working on the Trusted Analytics Platform and AI teams at Intel, turning hands-on experience into a defined framework for designing AI-driven user experiences. It also created an opportunity to share those insights with a broader audience, validating and refining them through discussion. The resulting design pillars have since become the foundation for all of my work involving AI interfaces, ensuring a consistent, human-centered approach to increasingly complex, data-driven systems.
